"We had a nice stay, the staff were nice, the room was a bit tired, comfortable bed, plenty of space in the room, quiet, great view from bedroom. Great location for local sites and Newbury races, plenty of parking. Lovery grounds to walk in, a Golf driving range on site, as well as a Golf course. within the grounds. We would come again, possibly with friends to play Golf in the Morning and go to the Races in the afternoon. We didn't have food at the property so cant comment. Good restaurants...

"Everything was good especially to relax considering we were there for a family funeral in the Newbury area. The staff were all friendly and the whole stay was a pleasure to be there."

"This is a charming, family-run inn near Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey). The accommodations were comfortable although simple, and the pub is fantastic, with really excellent food. The service by the family that owns th Inn and their employees is very good. The prices are reasonable, and the locals are friendly. The garden is very pretty also. No complaints, would stay again. The tomato soup and goat cheese salad were standouts."

"Tucked away in unspoilt countryside . It was indeed a warm, cosy double. Soft muted colours, furry blankets, gorgeous comfortable bed. Felt immediately at home' . The garden with twinkling lights and restaurant decoration are charming and food first class. We canx our booking due to an unforeseen hospital stay but could then make it and staff handled this effectively- thank you . We loved it and will be back. Thank you so much x "
