"Exceptionally great value for a busy seaside town such as Newcastle. Check-in staff was excellent as were the rest of the staff we met. The continental breakfast was absolutely adequate and free, so great value. Room facilities were adequate as well and the bathroom was great with plenty of hot water and shower get, shampoo etc.. Great location, free parking right outside and nearby. Highlight was The Donard being so dog friendly and dog welcoming. Definitely now my place of choice to stay when...

"Yes, room felt very comfortable and clean, staff were very nice and there were absolutely no issues with breakfasts. All perfect. And Parking was spot on. Ample space. "

"Myself and my partner only stayed for one night. The cabin was very clean and cosy with everything we needed for our short break. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent, things that not all places we have stayed get right. We used it as a stop off on our trip to photograph the mountains and surrounding areas, this was the perfect stop off for what we wanted. Thank you for the stay, it made our break, we will definitely be booking again."

"Fantastiskt mysigt boende med nära till vacker natur och sevärdheter. Ligger uppe på en pub och tyvärr är det väldigt lyhört, även mellan rummen och från gatan. Men det erbjuds öronproppar. Trevlig personal som tipsade om saker att se, otroligt stora portioner både vid frukosten och middag. Om man är känslig mot dofter varnar jag för att det stod doftpinnar på rummet samt andra doftspridare som luktade väldigt starkt. Vi ställde ut som utanför rummet. Väldigt lätt att hitta parkering. "A truly wonderful find! Quiet, convenient, clean well appointed cottage, with attentive, friendly hosts. Good parking, near enough (by car) to the Mourne Mountains, Murlough, Tyrella and Ballykinler beaches and Newcastle. About a 45 min drive from Belfast. A great haven for peaceful outdoor pursuits or just getting away from it all. Will happily stay again! "
