"Breakfast menu was limited. Overheard the chef saying to staff member they had mushrooms but will take some time to bring out but then comes to me an says they’re completely out and won’t be adding to breakfast despite there being hour or so to breakfast time finishing. Headboard in bedroom had a dangerous nail sticking out. The en-suite was ridiculously tight with the toilet placed so close to the bathtub there was no room- maybe for a small child. "Gorgeous hotel in spacious, well maintained grounds. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was clean and the bed extremely comfortable."

"The gym and pool were good but busy. It's a walk out of town, maybe 20 mins walk to the train station. Very nice staff, bar staff were particularly friendly and welcoming. Had a minor cleanliness issue with my room. They didn't correct it and didn't offer any recompense for it. Not my hair on the chair!"

"From check in to check out.I had a lovely stay. The hotel is really nice.I had an amazing sleep while there. The beds are very comfy. The breakfast on offer was really good, with cooked available. It was nice having a proper coffee maker at breakfast, so able to choose what you like.I would definitely stay again if in the area"
