A warm welcome awaits, and the hotel is really go.

We were warmly welcomed and our room was great. It was very roomy, quiet and the bed was comfortable. The shower was excellent. The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice. Our host was friendly and very helpful. We would stay there again.

Wonderful stay

This boutique family run hotel is an absolute gem. The owners have impeccable taste, a theme running through every tiny detail. Gorgeous room and I have to say the nicest breakfast I've ever eaten. And as a bonus you have Trenchers fish and chips just around the corner. A lovely stay. Thank you!

Amazing service

The owner was so friendly and ready to help if required. They had gluten free breakfast options which is rare! And couldn’t do enough for me. The room was beyond expectations and bed very comfy.

Great place to stay

Excellent host went out of his way to be helpful, nothing too much trouble even gave me a choice of rooms on arrival. Lovely hotel, well furnished, clean and very comfortable. Superb breakfast, so refreshing to have so much choice and more unusual options.

Great stay. Superb breakfast. Parking a little difficult. A handrail on one side for the four wide steps down to the bathroom would be a nice improvement. Other than that it was all excellent.

Great short stay

We arrived at York house hotel for a one night stay, we were greeted by the host and taken to our room, everything was first class and spotless. The room was spacious and modern, the home made cookies were awesome and breakfast had a great choice to choose from and was really nice, we would highly recommend this hotel It will be our first choice next time we visit the area.

Little Gem

This place really is a little gem. With the on-site parking, the re-furbished and pleasant rooms, the cleanliness and (most of all) the friendly and helpful service I could not fault it. The breakfast was really good too!
