"I loved the location to shopping and restaurants. It was on a quiet street but was within a 5-10 minute walk to Thames Street and the wharfs. The staff was excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend staying here. "

"My wife and I decided to spend the day in Newport and stay overnight. We absolutely picked the right place. The bed was incredible comfortable and the room was adorably decorated. We stayed in the tower section of the hotel on the 5th floor. Our room had an excellent view of the pool, water, fire pit area etc. We would 100% stay here on our next trip to Newport. "

"What a pleasure it was to stay here. Very friendly staff and comfortable rooms, beds and linen, bathroom are small with the sink outside the bathroom. They have a wonderful full breakfast/ buffet in the morning. They will provide a discount for parking near by that will cost 25.00 for overnight but you will have to be out of the parking area by10:00am. There is no elevator in this building so you have to walk your luggage up the stairs or you can get help from the front desk. Restaurants, bars and shops are walking distance. This is a very old building and old decorations to go with it but with a warm atmosphere. We enjoyed our stay. "

"My daughter and I had an amazing time staying at the Attwater hotel. It was so beautifully decorated made us feel at home in the common area where we got to hang out for a bit. Our room was upgraded to a suite and it was huge! After a day of walking we fell into the comfiest bed- probably the best sleep we had in a hotel. We did encounter a slight issue at front desk but it wasn’t handled professionally, fast and with compassion. Can’t wait to come back! "
