Everything is nearby. Quiet place to stay. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Nice seaside and less than 5 minutes walk. Typical coastal town and many places to visit around.

I stayed in the family room . All things were good. Only problem I had was with bathroom door as it was very difficult to open the door and with the basin. Water was draining very slowly.

Stayed for one night. The room was clean, and the pillows were comfortable. Upon arrival, we noticed an issue with the toilet, but it was quickly fixed by the staff. Quick check-in, and the location is great — everything you need is nearby. Overall, a positive experience.

The hotel is decent for its price. The room is clean, and the bathroom is in order. The location is good — everything you need is nearby. It’s a good option for a short stay, but don't expect luxury.

Great stay & great location

Stayed here at the reef lodge for a weekend break in Newquay. Greeted at reception, to book in and show us our room. Very friendly and chatty, made us feel welcome. Even though due to illness the reception was unattended with the times stated, but there was an apology notice which had a contact number on which we could ring or message if we had a problem or issue. We did use this number once to message a query and had a quick response. Room was clean & tidy with a comfy bed. Only fault I could make with the room is it could have done with a mirror in the room, for hair drying, hair straightening etc… had to stand from a distance and look through into the bathroom to use that mirror which wasn’t really close enough, but we did manage. Overall great stay and great location.

Stayed with my partner for one night. The room was clean, cozy, and the bed was comfortable—we slept great. We appreciated having a kettle, mini-fridge, and free tea. The staff was friendly and everything was quick and hassle-free. The nightstands in the room looked outdated, clearly not updated in a while. Overall, it was good for a short stay—we recommend it!

Recently, my wife and I stayed at this hotel. It is just a few steps away from the beach, which is perfect for those who love the sea. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Although there was sometimes noise from neighboring rooms, it didn't ruin the overall impression. The staff was very friendly. Housekeeping was done regularly, which added to our comfort.

We liked the central location, it was clean, that it has fridge and waterkettle with coffee and tea. The shower is buttonoperated, which is watersaving, but inconvenient; the soap dispenser did not work. Only one bedside table was available.

Slept in better

Ouch! Place was clean and tidy, not sure what's going on with their fire safety with fire doors propped open everywhere and a massive gap a truck could fit under on the door to our room. Room was adequate but the matresss was like some sort of torture device. Looked like a back of the van special with springs sharpened to impale you so wasn't the best night's sleep We had a family room that was supposed to be 2 double bunk beds, we had one double bed, a single bed and a super long bed above it with half a safety rail. Each sleeping position had a socket so I suppose that's a bonus so you can watch your phone while the bed springs stab you! Can tell they are trying or have been but and the one curtain across the window so nearly covered it! Bathroom was alright, had to take the top off the soap dispenser to get any soap and pressing the shower button every 20 seconds was a little annoying especially as I left school 20 years ago and can be trusted to switch the shower off when I get out of it!

We were allowed to check in early which's good. Shower was very weak. Toilet and bathroom very clean. My girlfriend was freaked out by the questioning of her by the male receptionist upon checkout when I went to get the car and pick her up from the door as it was raining...
