"Pretty functional airport hotel. I’d say Hilton but stripped back. I didn’t have any mineral water left in my room which I would think was pretty standard for this level of hotel. Really big bathroom Very hot but it was a hot evening outside The check-in was weird because we were asked to pay £5 for parking which wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the booking process. Considering it’s a motorway services accommodation, there’s really no choice unless we parachuted in. The hotel should have the honesty to include it in the price at booking."

"Had to click on something to get to this part of the review. Never actually stayed at the hotel, but spoke to a lady called Catherine who was brilliant! We had to cancel due to family commitments, but good old Expedia wouldn’t refund as they said I was too late to do as, but I took out the cancellation cover with them which said I could cancel up to the 3/5, but they thought different. I will never use Expedia again. You need to speak to people not robots!!"

Our room did not look like it had been fully cleaned when we arrived, there was a empty packet on the floor by the bed and the glass on the wardrobe was covered in finger marks. The room was also hotter inside than outside with no real way of opening window and a very small fan provided for us. I am glad they offered the fan but honestly it was the hottest room I have been in in years. The prices at the bar were appalling considering there was nowhere else to go for 10...
