"Our check in time was 4pm. We tried calling at 2pm for the possibility of early check in, but after being on hold for 30 minutes hung up. When we arrived at 4pm we were told our room wasn’t ready and they’d text us when it was. There was a big crowd in the lobby obviously under the same circumstances. I asked if we could get a comp’d drink in the restaurant while we waited and a room magically was available in 5 minutes. This wasn’t a reason for a negative post because the situation was handled to our satisfaction. Rooms should be ready at the 4pm check in though. Besides the overcrowded pool/spa everything else was great. Shout out to charging our electric vehicle while parked!"

"We had a great stay at the Rosellen Suites. The location is excellent, and the front desk staff were very friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our visit. There were a couple of minor plumbing issues in one of the bathrooms. While they were not major problems, we would not expect to encounter these kinds of issues at a hotel in Vancouver. One thing to be aware of is that there are a few stairs between the parking area and the suites. Normally this would not have been an issue, but we were traveling with an elderly family member who had difficulty using the stairs. There are not many steps, but they presented a challenge for us. We also found the parking area to be quite tight. The parking stalls offer very little room to maneuver, making it challenging to park and exit the spaces, especially with larger vehicles. We found it was easiest to park upon arrival and then leave the car there for the duration of our stay, using public transit or walking to get around. Fortunately, the hotel's excellent location makes this a practical option. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the excellent location and outstanding customer service."
