"Could not reccoment Hana Lodge more, the staff are amazing, so friendly, the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, charming, unique the artwork is beautiful and quirky as are the sculptures around the property. Breakfast is included everyday and the food is beautiful compliments to the chef and to everyone who we interacted with during our stay ❤️"

"My stay here as a solo traveler was the best decision I made for my trip. Dave and Shami were so friendly, kind, welcoming, and just genuinely good people. The room was so cozy and has an incredible view overlooking Rotorua. The breakfast spread was incredible and it was lovely to spend some time talking to other travelers about where they’re from and get ideas. I absolutely plan to come back again and recommend this place to anyone passing through Rotorua."

"Pretty tired and probably doesn’t reflect the star rating it has, one spa pool way too hot (42deg) and the other way too cold (34 deg) the guy took the temp while we were there but considering they’re one of the main features not ideal. Pool was lovely and very warm easy to swim in in winter. Rooms definitely need an upgrade"

"The hotel was okay .The kitchen area was cleaned but cups were not cleaned properly. Moreover, when we entered in the room we saw bed sheets was not fresh. On the bed sheet alot of hairs it looks like they haven’t changed the top bedsheet that was very disappointing.Overall,not recommended if your looking for clean room."

"Hi how’s it going, Am pleased to say that the staff are absolutely amazing, they were helpful and made the stay pleasant. The only comment I would have is being wheelchair bound it was kind of essential that there was space for me it to move around. We had booked the accessible room with seat in shower and hand rails for assistance with balance and getting around the room was a bit of a struggle to get in the front door as on arrival my partner had to move a big chair for me to continue though...
