we had a really nice stay at Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Niagara Falls, ON overall. the location was a huge plus — it’s super close to the main roads and easy enough to walk to a lot of the attractions, which made getting around really convenient.
the hotel itself was clean and comfortable, though it does feel a bit dated in some areas. nothing that ruined our stay, just something to note if you’re expecting something more modern.
the only real issue we experienced was with a fire alarm during our stay. it ended up being a planned alarm, but guests weren’t notified ahead of time. at first, a housekeeper told us it was planned and that we didn’t need to go outside, but after about 10 minutes she came back and suggested we might want to leave since the fire department had arrived. when i called the front desk, they confirmed it was planned and said it would continue going off for another 15–20 minutes. typically, hotels notify guests in advance about scheduled alarms, so that was a bit frustrating and confusing.
parking was also a bit pricey at $22 per night, which felt a little steep.
aside from those things, we had a good experience and enjoyed our stay. great location and overall a solid option if you’re visiting niagara falls.
