I liked this hotel so much and the way they treated me as guest. I felt very welcome from the day one. Facilities: Usually the wall to wall carpet in the room isn't my thing and must say it was a bit worn out, but otherwise the room was tidy and the bathroom nicely renovated. The air conditioning works very well which is also a big plus. Appreciate the housekeeping very much!

Please, stay somewhere else. We were going to stay 5 nights but did not even stay an hour! The area around the hotel feels unsafe at night. The pictures of the hotel look way better than when there. Hotel is outdated, old, smells bad. Feels unsafe. Do Yourself a Favor and Stay Somewhere else!

This is a great place to stay in Nice! It is a little bit out of the tourist area (less than a 5 min walk and you’ll start to hit those stores and restaurants though) which we preferred. The room was super clean and it had a very cute window with French shutters (loved!!). The staff were very friendly and helpful. You could easily walk to lots of restaurants and shops, a bit of a further walk to old Nice but we were content to walk and see the city! There were also tram stops nearby - which we took back from old Nice if we got tired and to/from the airport.

Great hotel to stay at while spending time in Nice. Was close to the train station, nice old town and was Surrounded by many restaurants and food options too. The room was a good size as well. The bathroom was fairly small but for two people, it was manageable.

I had an amazing stay at hotel du midi. Although it was not overly close to the beach, it had lovely facilities at a good price. There was a tram stop less than five minutes away which you could hop on to get to the beach within minutes and plenty of shopping options around.

Very courteous staff with rapid-fast checkin. As close to the train station as you can get. However, it was not super cheap but certainly looked it. A tired crappy hotel, uncomfortable bed/pillows and even crappies wifi.

The location is good as it’s a short t walk to the train station and walkable to the sites and beaches. Besides that, the lobby was renovated as per the photos yet our room and hallways had old carpeting and stucco walls. The bathroom had a small shower, no fridge as stated in the website yet it was nice to have a balcony.

This is what you would expect - an old French hotel near the train station. Small rooms and a tad funky. But it has been renovated somewhat and painted up and well maintained. The guy at the desk was outstanding. So it is fine. You can definitely stay here. Just maybe not on your honeymoon. Also it is right by the main shopping district, not the touristic beach area. Lots of dining options. But not the swankier restaurants you will find nearer the water.
