"The front office needs some upgrading , but the room was upgraded and quite nice. The bed was extremely comfortable and there is a keurig coffee maker and refrigerator. No microwave, but there appeared to be a space for one. Parking was readily available and there was a food truck on site as well as several situated close by."

"Room was very clean and comfortable, as was the bed. The bathroom was large and had an individual makeup table and stool. We were on the bottom floor, the hotel was sold out and yet we did not hear people walking above us. We did not hear doors slamming shut (the doors are not automatic close.) The breakfast was normal with two waffle machines. There were lots of choices although I think they needed more pastry choices. Wish they had cranberry juice. The noon checkout time was very beneficial. I will certainly stay here again when I am in Santa Maria."

"Bathroom smells like mildew especially the shower stall. Shower head was moldy. I am sensitive to mold and mildew. Bed was ok needs a topper. Plenty of pillows. Walking distance to downtown and restaurants. Easy parking. We had a room that had adjoining door and we could hear the people talking all night through the door."

"If you search charming in the dictionary, it’ll be accompanied by a picture of Kaleidoscope Inn. Since it’s an inn, there’s no front desk or reception. You receive the front door code and room code in advance. Even though it’s small, there’s still a roomy living room and kitchen, plus a large backyard. I’d definitely come back."
