"Getting the keys to the apartment and checking in is confusing since I had to go to a different hotel to get the keys. If a traveler does not have a phone that works in France, then it would be impossible to check in since the information for checking in is not really provided in the advertisement during booking. Also, check in is after 4 pm, which not stated until after booking... and that is not clearly indicated.
On a positive, the apartment is nice and clean and affordable not far from...

"The hotel is located in the middle of all things happening in the city, so it’s very convenient to explore the area from there and enjoy the bars and restaurants in the area. Although it doesn’t have on site parking there is a paid and secure underground parking nearby for 25-30 euros per day. It’s a very basic hotel without any special amenities, but it’s location is what you are paying for."

"Very close to train station but try and get a room not facing the train station due to noise. Wc was seprate to the shower which is a minor niggle. 15 mins walk to old port and lots of shops nearby. Lots of mainly Arab food places open late and very early and dead cheap on the door step. Feels relatively safe despite the riots dying down. Mareilles is not dangerous like the media states. Metro station faces the hotel. Pool use costs extra and I was not aware of this, need to pay 30 euro for a...
