"The hotel was delightfully situated for the centre of the city and its activities. However the absence of convenient parking was a bit of a drawback. The staff were welcoming but it was a shame that the room had no chair to relax and read in. And the bathroom had not hooks or rails for the towels so that a shower meant soggy towels being draped over inappropriate furniture. A good hotel but a little sparse in some aspects."

"Definately NOT a 5 star hotel. Rooms in massive need of updating, and the spa also. The Spa when we went was very messy, paper cups and peoples slippers/robes on floor scattered about. Looks like in need to some TLC. Visited Bath many a time and far nicer places to stay in my opinion, especially for the price. Building is beautiful, breakfast was as expected, check in fine, staff lovely, location ok 10 min walk into centre - just desperately needs some updating. "
