"This is a well-maintained, historic space. The updated room was nice. Modern floors, plumbing, and furnishings were good. Because of the age of the space, towels felt a bit damp.
This property is on the edge of a neighborhood. The space felt safe.

"Stayed 5 days at this property. Did not have our room cleaned once. They emptied the trash cans one time, did not leave towels or make beds. There were coke cans on the balcony when we arrived, bathroom was not the cleanest either. I asked for towels to be brought to our room and was told I would have to come and pick them up myself. The view from the balcony was very nice but I will not be returning."

"Staff was friendly but the hotel needs maintenance. AC in room and hotel bathrooms did not work to be any cooler than 77 degrees. I booked a harbor view room with a balcony on a corner. They tried to give me a corner balcony parking lot room. I eneded up with cheaper a harbor view balcony room for the same price of 595.00 per night. Not pleased. Hotel needs upkeep."

"There was an amazing amount of beverages and snack items available near the front desk. Anything from cold sodas and water to wine and beer could be purchased. The breakfast was fine. There were pancakes, toast, bagels, and premade omelets and bacon. Not a lot of choices but enough to start your day. I’d stay here again because of close proximity to Norfolk airport."

"I found that there was a leak on the bathroom floor because when I walked in I slipped. I immediately notified the front desk and they sent someone to confirm that there was a leak but I was told there were no other rooms available. I asked for a refund so I can go to another hotel but was told no refunds were allowed.
Very disappointing. My guest and I safety was in danger the entire weekend."
