"Fascinating historical location and brilliant setting. We enjoyed the history tour and climb of the tower. Great views towards Hadrians Wall in the distance."

"Excellent room with a great view of the Tyne & lovely facilities. The drinks at the bar had an excellent choice & the breakfast was great. Note the carpark is charged but at a reduced rate & you pay at the reception area. Very helpful staff. Rooms have tea/coffee making facilities."

"Lovely hotel in Newcastle City Centre. Easy walking distance from Central Train Station and to all entertainment venues. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Only negative was our room was an adjoining one, lack of sound proofing on adjoining door meant all noise/conversations between the 2 rooms was very audible. Would definately recommend this hotel but avoid an adjoining room if you can 🙂"

"it was our first time staying here, was well worth every penny. from getting out of our car we knew it was going to be excellent, we cannot find any faults at all with the hotel staff food etc. we will be back for another wonderfull stay"

"The castle is amazing, such a wonderful place to stay. Alex in the bar provided excellent service both to me and all other visitors making their experience a joy. I would definitely recommend, the restaurant staff need to bring the same level of care and service as the bar, being on my own they didn’t think about where best to sit me in the restaurant and seemed annoyed when I wasn’t ready to order. Just small things make the difference to an experience. Overall wonderful and so much history to absorb"

"Check-in and check-out at reception were very smooth. The room was very clean, well maintained, and easy to use. The hotel is also very close to the station, which made it very convenient. I felt it was an ideal place to stay for a business trip."
