"The hotel is excellent. The location, unfortunately, is not. Hartford is not exactly a place to hang out in, and after work is done, the city seems to shut down. There's not much to do except attend a basketball game, which is what we were there for, but the hotel itself has everything you need. Honestly, if you need to stay the night in Hartford, I would recommend the Goodwin because you literally don't need to leave since it has everything."

"This was possibly the best lower budget hotel I've stayed at in quite awhile. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was quite large and clean with a small kitchenette (and full sized refrigerator!), and the amenities were good. The only complaint I would have are personal preference. I found the bed a bit on the firm side, and the pillows in the opposite direction, a bit too soft. Both check in and checkout were quick and easy. I would recommend this hotel and will be back the next...

Had small store area that gave you the option to charge items to your room. The free breakfast was fantastic with a lot of options to choose from. Staff was very professional"
