"We stayed in Room 1. It was spotless and spacious with tea and coffee and bottled water. The staff were very nice and the breakfast was outstanding with a good selection of hot and cold options including full and small English to healthy vegetarian options. We chose The Ship Inn because of its location within walking distance to the beach and the ability to easily get on walking trails. Unfortunately, I thought the room looked rather tired and I found the bed quite uncomfortable, with hard ridges across the mattress all the way down. The bathroom in our room was OK but quite small. There were no shelves or anywhere to put toiletries or cosmetics. "

"My stay was comfortable, but due to regulations, the windows could only open 6 inches. I came on the hottest weekend of the year and the room was 25 degrees at night without a breeze. I have suggested a fan for such nights in the future. This was a lovely stay and Richard is very helpful.
