"We had a wonderful time at Taketoritei Hotel Maruyama. Shuttle service was outstanding. Staff members were very friendly and helpful. Room with open air Onsen we stayed was very spacious, clean, comfortable. Open air Onsen was beautiful and quiet. Enjoyed very much. Dinner was phenomenal, and the breakfast was delicious as well. Hospitality was just beyond my expectations. We highly recommend this place. "

"Ich wollte unbedingt einmal in einem Ryokan übernachten und habe mich deshalb für diese Unterkunft entschieden. die Unterkunft an sich ist sehr schön. Die Nacht war dann doch etwas anstrengend auf dem Futon. Später hab ich mir aber einen zweiten aus dem Schrank darunter gelegt. Die Gegend würde ich als sehr ruhig beschreiben. Man muss mindestens einmal Bus und Zug fahren, um direkt nach Kyoto zu kommen. Aber dennoch kann ich sagen, ein Aufenthalt in diesem Ryokan lohnt sich durchaus."

"On our recent trip to Japan we wanted an authentic experience staying in a ryokan. We were greeted by an extremely attentive staff who whisked our luggage away to our mountain view room. We received hotel slippers and were given a tour of the hotel. Our modest room had a low table and chairs with a tea service, a private bathroom, tatami mat floor and yukata robes.
