"I recently stayed at the Fairmont Chicago, Millennium Park for four nights, and to be honest, I expected more from a Fairmont property. While the beds were comfortable and allowed for good rest, the overall condition of the room felt outdated and somewhat neglected. The hotel does not reflect the level of quality and attention to detail that one associates with the Fairmont brand. The experience wasn’t terrible, but it definitely fell short of expectations, especially considering the reputation of the brand. With some renovation and better upkeep, this property could significantly improve."

"Great rooms. The beds were very comfortable and the buffet breakfast was one of the nicest I’ve had in a US hotel in a while. I do wish they would just make regular chocolate chip cookies though stop adding nuts. I really love the warm chocolate chip cookies from the Doubletree."
