"I booked this place because my husband was having surgery at Mayo Clinic and we needed an inexpensive ADA room, close to the hospital. The room was FILTHY DISGUSTING, to the point we did not walk barefoot at all. None of the doors closed properly. The bathroom was grimy and the towels were dingy and torn. Staff would not come clean the room (they only clean the rooms once every 2 weeks), give extra towels (they will charge you for extra), and I ended up having to do my best to clean the bathroom floor myself. We couldn’t move rooms because we were told that was the only walk-in shower available (necessary for my husband). The 3rd day we were there, there was a small cockroach in the bathroom. The internet went out halfway through our stay and stayed out with no update from staff for any estimated time of restoration. The air conditioner was stuck at “61”, but never cooled the room (necessary in Phoenix). We just had a fan blowing, basically. Then they had a crew of 2 guys who came to “clean” all AC units in the building. These 2 guys were very rude, and refused to change their schedule when I told them my husband would be in the room recovering, and could they come during a time he’s awake or out for a walk. The office staff doesn’t even open the office door until 9am, and the in-room phone didn’t work to call the office. This was the WORST experience I have ever had at a hotel. I will never return here and want a refund. This place was beyond filthy, and should be shut down!"
