"Great location- could take the train/bus where I needed to go (passport office. Also close to Amtrak, tourist attractions like the space needle, bay, aquarium, etc. Plenty of restaurants (fast food, healthy vegan, etc.), movie theater, and both a CVS and Walgreens nearby. The neighborhood wasn't the safest-feeling as a lone female traveller. I had 2 separate people tell me to, "be careful." I also walked past several blocks that reeked of urine, but hey... it's downtown. I live in Portland and our downtown is WAY sketchier. The staff were great- they accommodated my request for late check out (15/hr). As far as the amenities in the room- very basic, but adequate. If you like sugar/creamer in your coffee grab extra on your way up. Security-wise there was a safe in the room, but there wasn't a way to lock the door more than the one latch that can be opened by anyone with a key card- I experienced someone coming into my room in a different hotel (2 men- I was ok!) and not having the extra door security made me a little nervous. OVERALL it was great for a good night's sleep and it was affordable."
