"The carpet had not been vacuumed from previous guests or perhaps not is some days. All feather pillows, which I am allergic to, there was no option for bedding preferences when booking. No extras like waters in room, iron, extra linens. Carpet, couch & desk chair fabric and well used. Beautiful view of Canal but the open patio below our window hosted a baseball team, and late night dads drinking, loud rock music and talking until after midnight. "The room was a nice size room for 4, clean but there wasn't enough bath towels for 4 just 2 and it would have been nicer if there were bigger. They had shampoo and conditioner put it just a small packet but again not enough for 4 people. There's a great store nearby called thr Ocean State Job Lot on 285 Main Street on Buzzards Bay with excellent prices on bath sheet towels $8.99/each. They have great restaurants one called the Pilot House 20 mins away, Loafy Loft with great Vietnamese ice...

"Nice, clean, and quite. Pool was closed in June which was not a big deal to us. Complimentary breakfast was a little better then the basic toast and fruit continental I expected. That was a bonus. I would stay there again."

"The owner was helpful and friendly. The place was so unique and interesting. It’s amazing how they were able to convert a church into a lovely inn using all the original woodwork. Our room was large and had original stained glass windows. My husband and I plan to return."

"This motel was clean and has the rustic charm of old Cape Cod. The grounds are beautiful with marsh views and kayaks available free of charge. Room decor is a bit dated but clean and comfortable. The owner lives on site and is very accommodating. We would definitely stay the night again!"
