"The Terrace restaurant was exceptional. The beach was awesome."

"Their pool apparently has been shut down for a couple years. There’s old faded, yellow caution, tape around most of the property. The rooms were dirty, including mold in the bathroom, ants on the furniture and a filthy floor that made your feet black. The bed was crunchy and creaky. There’s no restaurant just outdoor bar food. Everything was in disrepair and filthy. We stayed one night and left first thing in the morning. We had been booked through a package with Expedia for five nights....

"I stayed at The Waves on a solo trip, and it was honestly the perfect place for me! From the moment I arrived, I felt safe, comfortable, and completely at ease as a woman traveling alone. The property was extremely clean, the view was unbelievable, and the staff was amazing. Tom and Charlette were fantastic, and the restaurant servers were wonderful as well. The food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious, and the portions were generous enough that I had leftovers to enjoy...
