"The kitchen was well equiped and parking was good and felt safe. Bed was king sized and comfortable. Television was not able to be switched on in the afternoon though. Didn't turn on until 5 pm."

"Safe parking next to room. Contactless check in & check out so we never met the host. However, Serge replied promptly to my texts and explained check in procedure and readily accommodated late check because we had been delayed by rescheduled Ferry crossings, severe weather and heavy traffic. "

"Great location, good breakfasts (coffee could have been better). Room was small but very nice. Bed very comfortable. Old building so there is little sound insulation - can hear every movement in the hall/stairs from inside the room. Would have rather had a pot of good coffee vs there Nespresso machine that failed to deliver on any coffee variants I tried to make. "

"Slightly quirky accommodation, but comfortable enough once you're aware. And it's half way up Baldwin Street! Our arrival instructions & welcome email arrived into my spam box while we were driving to the accommodation - not the fault of the proprietor, but made our arrival tricky..."

"The room was clean and I only stayed for 1 night I never went into the kitchen or looked for shops. I couldn't work the microwave but luckily for me friends brought me hot food Sorry I can't say more"

"There was something banging that persisted all night. We asked if we could change rooms. The young man on reception came up, listened and suggested it was a vent from another unit that would stop when they had finished showering. It didn't! We tried to order room service and could not get a reply anywhere, tried a number of lines, there is nothing on the menu to say who to call. Looking on line, it said to call reception, but got no answer there. There was significant drafts from the windows....

"This is quite a new hotel, and we found it very nice. All the finishings are very modern and luxurious. We had 2 single beds, and quite comfortable in it. The bathroom is especially nice and luxurious, staff is very helpful and friendly. Location is walking distance to everything in town. "

"This was a wonderful stay with great views of the bay. The house had plenty of room for the 5 of us. Great kitchen for cooking dinner, with nice table with room for all of us. The living room had nice large TV screen, but also great views overlooking the bay and Dunedin. Spent two nights, but could have easily spent more."

"Parking was primitive and difficult with too few carparks. Bed mattress was like a slab of concrete. Stairs to upper rooms steep very difficult to manage heavy luggage. Would not go back. No staff on duty when we arrived before the office was due to close. "
