"My husband and son really enjoyed the pool. Be aware you do need to purchase a swim cap for two euros. The beds were extremely comfortable. The hotel is lovely."

Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel

"Room was very spacious and comfortable beds and high quality linens. Conveniently located within walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants. Limited information provided on check in, particularly that there is a pool on site, and there are fees to rent towels and a swim cap which was reported to be required. The leisure center seemed more like a workout center or gym rather than a hotel pool."

"We lovers the property and the location, the only drawback was the lack of AC, however, that was to be expected given the age of the property.. the breakfast was amazing, as was the check in and the welcome drink.: we would definitely stay again."

"The Club House was in a great location and very clean and the staff was wonderful. Breakfast was available at a reasonable cost. It can be a challenge for those with difficulties with stairs as there wasn’t a lift available. Otherwise it was very nice."

"Staff were excellent throughout. Breakfast was very good, with a vast selection of foods available in the buffet and a lovely choice of sit-down menu. The room was very big, with very comfortable beds. We had plenty of space even with the rollout bed for our teen and we all slept very well. Just felt for 4star the room was a little tired and needs a bit of TLC."
Dromoland Castle

"This was the highlight of the trip for my kids. Staying at a castle is pretty sweet but the Dromoland service made all the difference. From personalized little gifts to the kids, to the falconry and archery experiences, to the bike rides in the beautiful property. We don't golf, but the golf course looked very nice. We will be back!"
