"This hotel is very new, clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. The staff was extremely friendly, professional and helpful. It is in a good location with free streetcar access to almost every tourist site in downtown KCMO. The breakfast was very good and reasonably priced. The room tv actually provided channels and movies to watch without having to sign in to your own accounts. Now here is the worst part and what will stop me from returning to this hotel. Parking! There is ample street parking around the hotel and a parking lot behind the hotel. I was told street parking was controlled by the city and cost $31/day. That is not a typo $31/day! The parking lot behind the hotel is also controlled by the city but the hotel was able and willing to comp the parking charge. Very nice of them, however, the lot is far too small for this hotel. We were extremely fortunate to find a spot back there after we checked in around 10pm. The next morning, I watched as the hotel staff arrived and circled the lot also looking for a spot. This exasperated the problem. I had to drive to a nearby location for about 20 minutes. When I returned all spots were taken so I had to wait for someone to come out and leave. This only took about 30-45 minutes. Thankfully, I did not have something pressing to do. This is a very large inconvenience. If you do not need to worry about parking this hotel is extremely nice, with a great staff and fun amenities."
