"We adored our stay and wish we had more time to spend here. What a wonderful country setting in a traditional B &B. Beautiful chapel views from our room which also overlooked a sweet field with sheep. We were welcomed at the door and bid goodbye personally. The cooked to order breakfast was wonderful and thoughtfully prepared and laid out. We would love to return if we are lucky enough to do so. True gem!!! Suzie and Wes from Oregon."

"No free Wi-fi code left anywhere and attendants mobile never responded, horrible almost on floor bed with urine stained manky old worn unprotected mattress, bedroom window blind broken so exposed to neighbours and tatty external areas, no bathroom mirror (previously broken and not replaced), paid £6 extra for breakfast, expecting cooked, but it was a help yourself basic toast/cereal. "Good points: 1. Hotel was clean and tidy 2. Room was very clean 3. Staff were very helpful and friendly 4. Breakfast was great 5. Plenty of parking 6. Great location and very peaceful Bad Points: 1. Bed was not that comfortable 2. The room was very hot with no A/C 3. Room is a little dated Enjoyed our brief stay and for the price, very impressed."

"I booked a driving experience for my partner’s birthday back in January and we deliberately waited until summer to make a weekend of it. This review is about the hotel rather than the driving experience. A few things future guests should know: you can’t cast your phone to the TV and there are no streaming services such as Netflix, so maybe bring a Fire Stick. There are no robes or slippers provided. The shower is essentially a wet room, so the floor gets very wet and flip-flops are useful. I’d recommend booking the restaurant in advance as it was fully booked when we arrived, and there are very few delivery options nearby. The biggest issue was the noise. Within the first two hours we complained five times. Reception called the room above us and later spoke to them in person, but the noise only stopped briefly before continuing throughout the evening and the following morning. The only quiet period was between 8:30am and 9:30am, which we used to try and sleep, meaning we missed the breakfast included with our stay. We complained again, requested a late checkout before the 2pm driving experience, and although the late checkout fee was waived, we could only stay until midday. We were so sleep deprived that my partner couldn’t fully enjoy the driving experience. Being offered a complementary late breakfast/ lunch whilst waiting for the drive experience would’ve been appreciated. Unfortunately, we did not enjoy our stay at all and left hungry, tired, and excited to go home."
