"Great place to stay if you're going to visit the island."

"Breakfast had many choices. I would have preferred that a coffee pot would have been in the room. There was 24/7 coffee in the lobby.i like that one cup of coffee when i get up before leaving the room for breakfast. There was a local restaurant right across the street no need to drive anywhere."

"Reserved a 2 bedroom (3 queen beds) with family room online, for family of 5. Hotel advertized an indoor water park which was advertized online and on the hotel sign. We got this for our daughters 12th birthday. Got there, and water park wasn't opening for another 3 days, on may 11th. We were in the off season which i get, but no where on the hotel sign nor on their online page did it state the water park wasn't open. Daughter was disappointed snd hotel wouldnt refund. Then, our room was a basic style room, with 3 beds in it. They said this was their "family" room. If so, they need to stop advertizing the room pictures they had for the room then, which showed 2 bedrooms and a living area. Hotel room was dirty and falling apart, with wall paper peeling. Toilet was very loose on floor and whobbled. Also was clogged. I had to ask for a plunger in order for us to use it. 😷 Also, no breakfast served here, which is a major downfall. It did have a really nice view of the lake and mackinaw bridge. Right on the waterfront endge. That was the only redeaming factor. "

"Thought I booked an individual chalet. Was placed in a chalet that had 2 entrances with a connecting door inside. I would have not booked if I knew it was not an individual chalet. Not correctly advertised on site."

"Our toilet was not cleaned. The bowl was still dirty. The young lady running the breakfast buffet was not very helpful when we needed supplies, she was very slow at refilling the food. Other than that it was a nice stay."
