"It is obvious that the staff is trying hard but there are obvious budget restrictions that adversely affected the stay. It took 5 requests to finally get an extra blanket for our room, the room was superficially clean but there was a feminine hygiene product under the dresser. At 8pm on a Friday night there was only one restaurant/bar on the FAR side of the property. The water park was nowhere near 84 degrees and at one point there were extremely cold drafts, and the water was luke warm, even in the hot tub.
The water park closed at ridiculous times -- 7pm on a Friday and Saturday! This severely limited our visit and we only made it once in three days as a result.
Younger kids probably would still have a great time, but my teens were not impressed and we will probably not try this one again unless it's just for skiing.
Again -- the staff and managers were excellent and tried really hard, but it was abundantly obvious that they were extremely short staffed and that they were running a shoestring budget -- not what you expect for a thousand dollar weekend."
