"The Occidental Lodge is a very charming, old-school lodge that is well-maintained and absolutely spotless. My favorite part was that there were no smells at all in the room, which I loved!The lodge is located in a tiny, quiet town that I would describe as a micro-country town. "Check in was efficient and pleasant. The room was clean and the air conditioner cooled everything down quickly. The walls are pretty thin and if the neighbors are loud you will hear them. The restaurant across the highway was pretty good, but if you’re walking, be careful making your way across! Make note that the motel is not in Bridgeport but 5 miles away."

"We stayed for a week at Brookdale. We loved how there was a diner and a market right there. Only couple things that are minor inconvenience was the ice machine wasn’t working for a couple days. But the staff at the bar let us get some ice. And our room was supposed to be cleaned one day and we got back and it wasn’t refreshed. We will definitely be returning on our next vacation."
