"Exterior is well maintained Our shower tiles, etc was old and smelly drain. Kitchen hotplate, etc were filthy, greasy. Scratched/stained mugs. Towels I would use on my dog… incredibly old and faded. Have stayed with family few times… no more, needs money spent on internal areas - no usb on power points, broken bottom shelf in bar fridge - unable to stand opened bottle of wine….friendly staff 10/10"

"Well…there was only one cup in the room, and I think that a creature nibbled on the cookies that were left out…it was serviceable, but the door to the bathroom was broken and needed to be manhandled to close. The folks at the front were quite nice…but the property has seen better days."

"Bluestone Motel was well positioned. Rooms were very comfortable, clean and tidy, and spacious. Modest bathrooms but functional. The restaurant however was very very expensive. The food was tasty but ordinary, sadly it was definitely not worth the money."

"The reception staff were friendly and helpful. We only stayed 4 nights, and found it relatively easy to walk into the city, but sometimes got a taxi back from the wharf. Only used the pool decking area one night, and was surprised how small the pool was. Shame there isn't more information about bus services in the area. Again walked down to the Mindl Beach Sunset Market, which was interesting. Didn't eat at the restaurant, but used kettle and toaster to make breakfast."

"The actual place looks like it shouldn’t be open, looks like a construction site but nothings being done. The one room that looks like it’s to be used that we were given smelt like it had been completely coated in bleach it was that strong that it burnt the nose hairs. We gave the key back and the person there asked why, we said we decided to keep going - not happy at all and wasted $200!!"
