"Great room very nice place."

"We stayed in a 2-bedroom unit on the second floor. While the location is great, our experience was significantly impacted by persistent noise from the unit above. Throughout the day and continuing until around 10pm each night for everyday, there was constant loud running and jumping from children upstairs, creating repeated thumping sounds that were hard to ignore. It made it difficult to relax, especially in the evenings when we were trying to wind down. For a property at this price point and brand standard, better sound insulation or clearer quiet-hour enforcement would be expected. Another surprising aspect was the checkout guidelines related to housekeeping. Guests were asked to run the dishwasher, take out the trash, and gather linens. While the message mentioned these were optional, it is quite unusual to see this kind of expectation at a Hyatt property. In our case, there was a large amount of trash with no practical way to dispose of it, as the bins downstairs were too small and assistance was not clearly provided. While it was stated that these steps were optional, sending such instructions to guests does create an expectation that they should be followed. This felt inconsistent with a hotel stay, where housekeeping is typically part of the service rather than something guests are implicitly asked to take on. Overall, while the setting is nice, the inconsistency in service expectations combined with the ongoing noise made the stay less comfortable than expected. "

"We ended up going on a diff weekend due to storm blocking roads. Nice they allowed us to change despite policy. However few problems with our stay 1. Housekeeping. We asked for extra comforter / duvet as we had 4 guests in that each preferred own blanket. Multiple times had to re-ask as housekeeping kept taking them during cleaning and turndown. On top of this there were some shelves covered in thick layer of dust. Superficial job. 2. Food was OK. Manzanita was decent but lobby and taco place weren’t very good. 3. Main pool and hot tub closed for maint. Spa pool was open for use but was looking forward to hot tub. 4. Ski in / out not possible due to lack of snow — sometimes a ski Sherpa from Northstar would help drive down guests, but only if you had a lesson otherwise they’d fuss. So either hike down mountain with skis or take 2 gondolas."

"Overall the studio was very nice and the village area is gorgeous. This would be a 9 or even 10 out of 10 if it had air conditioning because it does get very hot and you simply cannot be in the room during the day with the portable fan the room has. We went in the summer so this will be a non-issue in the winter. A kitchenette would also be nice to have. Pros: -The studio is very clean with a lot of essentials provided. -Comfortable bed and pillows. -The village is beautiful with nice restaurants, coffee, skating ring, a great swimming pool, etc. -Personal parking space that is covered, so the car doesn't get hot in the summer. Cons: -The room gets very hot during the day starting in the morning and the room has no dedicated air conditioner, just one of the portable ones. My wife tried to take a nap during the day and simply couldn't because of the heat. At night it gets better if you open the window and sliding door, otherwise it is really hot also, even with the portable fan that is provided. -The property manager takes very long to respond. -Takes a good 10 minutes to get to the lake. -No broom. -No kitchenette."
