"Arriving at the hotel Lisa at the front desk was very welcoming. So many guests were there due to the recent power outage from the tornado, and Lisa made the check-in process very smooth. The two queen beds are very spacious for a family of four. The only disappointment was when asked for more face towels and dry off towels we were told that it was a limit. My husband explained that it was only two towels of each in the room so we should at least get four towels for each guest that is booked in the room and then we were given an extra two towels."

"Arriving to the hotel caught me off guard. The outside pictures of the hotel was not the same as advertised on hotels.com. I'm assuming its going through renovations which would also explain the name difference too. Sigh the linen needs to be changed. I had my son ask for new dry towels because we had some with hair attached. The first room we walked into was not cleaned and it made me feel like damn is this a hole in the way hotel and I was ready to check out but everywhere else was booked out. The staff were helpful and friendly. They were very accommodating. I do feel the rooms could really use some cleaning and they could use new linens overall. My stay not bad at all. PS pool was closed."

"Although a little run down. The room was clean staff was helpful. I think the biggest problem that made our stay difficult was the walk to room. Asked for handicap room and was put in back halls on second floor. Location was great and price was very reasonable. The saving on stay allowed extra $ to spend on the delicious food from local restaurants!"

"The breakfast was great and we enjoyed the lake view. Didn’t get a chance to do much else because of the storm and the loss of electricity. That was the only reason we left early. We would definitely stay there again."

"Felt the property could have been very good. It has a super cool setting and rooms over the water was fun. However the room was not so good. It needs better cleaning protocols."
