"Great location with lots of restaurants, bars, and shops around. The walls, windows, and doors do not block out a lot of sound, but that is expected for NYC. You could easily hear the street and other guests, bring earplugs (they supplied some also). The towels were very low quality and each person only gets one per night, so plan for that. There is a strange smell in the entry way but the room smelled fine. The bed was comfy overall. I'd stay here again since it's close to our friends house for...

"Clean room. Host was super nice when we wanted to switch rooms. (Our first room had a much firmer bed than we wanted). They watched our bags after we checked out. Overall super easy and smooth process! Can’t beat the location. "

"I am not sure how this hotel got awarded 3.5 starts. It’s trashy, outdated and housekeeping is non existent. We changed three rooms before we got into a decent one. There is no attention to detail. Everything looks cheap, furniture and floors are scratched. Bedding was the worst. No one slept well during our stay there, simply because the mattress was old and uneven, pillows were bumpy and firm. "Great stay! A couple blocks from Empire State and all the main sites in the city. In room heater made it so nice to set our own temperature during cold weather. Nice clean bathroom, kitchen with dishes, a pull out table all made this very convenient. On check out day we were able to store our luggage at the reception which was so helpful. Overall highly recommend this cute nyc apartment!! We stayed there with our kids and it was very safe and kid friendly."
