The noise insulation from the rooms above is non-existent; from footfall noise to voices. The remote for my TV did not work. The street noise was also loud but then that was to be expected. Otherwise, the room was clean and functional.

This was a nice place to stay. Location is great if you like nightlife. The rooms were pretty clean and were comfortable. The price was insane but that's more a function of NyC. Overall I would recommend.

Friendly and helpful staff available via phone (was tricky finding the place). Location is great for ease of getting around. Clean, though a shower head replacement might help to get some water pressure. Would have loved a coffee maker for the little kitchen.

Clean room, spacious for NYC and a very good deal. Great location, near Sub and Bus stations. Great neighborhood. Handy kitchenette, read Amenities carefully- do not go by the pictures. I read reviews that complained about noise-- heads up, if you want a quiet room, go to the mountains. Every place in NYC is noisy. Yes, it is noisy- bring a white noise machine or use the furnished ear plugs. Will definitely stay here again.

It was confusing at first as I had not received the check in email and there is no front desk but very responsive when I called. The room and bed were very comfortable. Street noise but ear pluges provided was a nice touch. Great stay all in all.

Blackout curtains would be helpful. The roll down shade let bright light into the room aimed directly onto the bed. The location was great! Easy entry & exit into the building. Relatively quiet inside the room.

We enjoyed our stay at EVH. It was close to our son’s apartment as well as the subway and great restaurants. The area was totally safe and the staff we did see were very friendly. It was nice having a kitchenette. A suggestion would be to provide maybe some paper towels for the kitchen area or more than one kitchen towel.

Our daughter is at NYU so it was a great location. It is a little more work with no lobby and being able to leave your bags but we paid a great price.

Nice room - exactly what we needed. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchenette was great, perfect for breakfast or packing a picnic lunch to eat in Central Park. Location was nice -lots to do in the area and accessible to subway. We did not find it particularly loud but we were visiting from a busy city/area. We did not get a chance to test the TV as we were too busy. Would only say that it would be nice if the kitchen had a few more dishes (2 of everything). Entry into the lobby and room was very easy. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to others.
