Spacious, comfortable room. Good breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Peaceful situation.

Enjoyed staying in a chateau in town. Charles the owner was very welcoming and gave us a tour around his home. If you want to stay in a modern hotel with all the amenities this is probably not the place for you. But if you want charecter and personal service you will not regret it. Breakfast in front of the log fire surrounded by artwork overlooking the park from your 18th century drawing room was an experience we will always remember.

The hotel was a chateau which had been completely refurbished about a year ago. Restaurant was great as was the breakfast. However the room we chose was a de lux garden view room but was far from being a garden view it looked over the court yard. The manager did offer to change our room the second night but as we were only there 2 nights I declined but he did treat us to cocktails so no complaints. Very quiet location but near enough to the Normandy beaches and ferry terminal at Caen. We had a lovely big bedroom and en-suite in Tom's well renovated home. All the breakfast options were tempting but we went down the croissant, pain au chocolat, crusty bread route. Tom was very friendly and attentive. We hope to return when next in the area.

Existing reviews have said it all-the condition of the property both in side and out, the grounds, staff and owners are simply exceptional. The chateau is located in a very quiet area providing the most peaceful of settings. Only a 20 minute drive from the ferry port at Caen and near to all the historic beaches, museums, cemeteries making it a more than ideal location. We stayed for one night while travelling through France and had a great time. Very clean and tidy, great breakfast with home made jams.

We had a lovely stay. The owners were very nice and helpful and made an extra effort to provide me with gluten-free crepes at breakfast. The rest of the breakfast was also excellent. I would recommend it and will stay there again if I am in the area.

Beautiful building and luxury rooms. Staff very polite and helpful. Ideal spot to stay for Normandy Beaches and Museums. Only 3 miles from Arromanch & D Day Landings. We loved this hotel, breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We will definitely return as it’s such an ideal spot for visiting the sites.

A wonderful lodge for the last night in France 🇫🇷 we wish we could have stayed longer. My children loved the little hide away bedroom and the roll top bath. Clemence offered an excellent dinner recommendation at a local craft beer tap room. The food was divine! As was the beer. We would highly recommend this accommodation.

A quiet, well-being, professional, horse loving retreat from the demands of our busy life around London. The views, room, healthy locally sourced meals and care in presentation are a delight. Highly recommended as a time for Oneself. The Spa and Salt water pool were an integral part of our relaxing time here. We will definitely be returning!
