"Room wasn’t dark enough for a good nights sleep as emergency lighting. No room service menu available. Breakfast was poor as buffet style with limited selection. Drink choice was poor as coffee from a machine tastes horrible. It’s a shame you couldn’t offer a healthier cookie without the rapeseed oil ingredients! You also need some bins outside or in reception. Also not keen on the red decor in the room, doesn’t seem relaxing. Bottle of water in fridge couldn’t be opened. If you’re going to supply a fridge, why not supply fresh milk instead of UHT? "

"Check-in - painfully Slow... Insisted on charging a £50 "deposit" at check-in that wasn't mentioned at the time of booking, then after reluctantly paying by card and SEEING THE GREEN TICK AND APPROVAL CONFIRMATION on the terminal screen, the receptionist claimed it hadn't been successful, and I'd need to pay it again (which I refused to do). In the one small lift, the button for the Ground Floor was taped over with the message "Not Workig" (sic) meaning the only way to get back to the ground floor and exit the building was down a rough worn stone staircase, that had lights controlled by sensors that did not detect a person until they were half way down. I WOULD CONSIDER THIS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. when mentioned to the receptionist the response was a dismissive "we know"... I have enjoyed good stays at other Trivelles branded properties elsewhere, but sadly this one fell some way short of their standard. "

"Was really close to train station and public transport. There was a few shops near by. Very convenient. "

"The staff were great. Unfortunately the decor is dated and the rooms are tired albeit clean. Our room (111) had a faulty extractor fan so the room got steamed up on the first evening. This was not a problem the second morning as there was no hot water!! The drainage from the shower and sink was slow so we had to make sure neither overflowed. Breakfast was fine although the coffee machines needed a good clean. "

"I travelled down from London booked a executive suite it was large and very spacious Amenities in the room are very good shampoo body wash lotion all available and good quality I enjoyed my stay Just feel for one night maybe a little overpriced but overall will definitely come again Disappointed because of the parking had booked through Expedia and thought I had reserved parking but upon arrival told was no parking available as fully booked so just for future call in advance and reserve your parking space "
