"I had a fantastic stay at La Casa Juan Ranas. It was mid October so the weather was still warm and the local area was vibrant. The view from my suite’s terrace, was truly breathtaking - the best view of Alhambra! It was memorable having breakfast on my terrace and seeing the whole of Granada sprawling beneath the palace. "This hotel is absolutely magnificent! It’s in a perfect location next to a gorgeous cathedral. There are ancient ruins in basement, discovered during the hotel construction, that you can explore. A great gym, a spa, a huge outdoor roof patio, a pool!! And the best thing… it’s right in the middle of everything in Granada and very close to Alhambra! I love this place! One of my favorites of all time!"

Great to have a private car park and the reception staff were super nice and helpful. "The location is in the old part of the city directly below the Alhambra and just above the Carrera del Dora. There are multiple restaurants very close by and flamenco venues too. The hotel dates from the 15th century and has a wonderful historic atmosphere but the rooms have modern facilities. It is up steps so in a quiet situation. "It was a bit challenging checking in because we arrived early. The office is several blocks away and doesn’t open until 10. We were able to drop our bags at the office and wonder the city until checking in. The room was awesome, very clean and modern, quiet and secure. The laundry on site was an added bonus. Great central location. Would definitely stay here again."

"This place is really about the view to the Alhambra which was superb! The room was big. The bed was “okay”, but the fitted sheet didn’t fit very well and in the middle of the night they kept coming off… we had to get up and try to put them back on. The proprietor gave us very good directions on where to be dropped off by the taxi. It is a walk down stairs so definitely be sure to bring luggage that can be rolled along a rocky/aggregate terrain. "We were in Spain for two weeks and this was our favorite stay. Everything was wonderful - staff, room, amenities and breakfast (included). Perfect central location in Granada. Highly recommend!"

"The hotel is tucked away between a main street and a nice busy back street but it’s so quiet inside and lovely. The hotel and room are spotless and there are many shopping and food options in a short walking distance. We extended our stay due to an issue with transport and Narly was more than happy to help us out. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Granada."
