"Very comfortable and welcoming place! A real hidden gem not too far away from the city. The house and property and gorgeous, the breakfast is big and delicious, and the programs that they run are great. I attended a Reiki circle that I found very helpful and relaxing. The shiatsu massage chairs are also excellent. I would return and I will recommend Rising Star!"

"Our room was spacious and bright with excellent blackout curtains for night. Bed comfortable with bed linens and comforters that are fully washable (no worries who or what was previously on the bedspread 😉.) Room well maintained. Breakfast is good for a complementary breakfast — included hot options and the coffee was actually good.
Lots of parking and greenery around the building. Staff welcoming and every staff member greeted and smiled when passing them is the hallway.

"I checked in, took one look at the room, and checked out. Barely big enough for the bed. Photos posted online are misleading and I can’t imagine the positive reviews are from anyone who has been there. Because I checked in I lost two nights that I paid for. It was worth walking away from. The place is a dump. Man at the desk seemed very insistent I lock my car, despite it being mid-afternoon and I could see it through the window. Main floor rooms all drive-up with sliding doors. 2nd floor seems more secure. Easy access to Go Station for visits into T.O. without the price tag. Will stay again."

"Loved everything! Never done B&B and I think I was spoiled. Spacious room, Nice bed, pillows, lighting, t.v, jacuzzi tub, or shower and an eclectic mix of items and paintings/photos to look at. Also you will not get breakfast like that at a hotel. Served when YOU are ready to eat. My kind of place. Martin and Petra are kind and direct hosts. "The location was great, just off the 401 and a short drive to the GO station. It made getting to and from Union Station and the Jays game pretty easy! The bed was a bit broken in… it was tough to share because we were both rolling into the middle, but that’s the only complaint I have. "I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. There was plenty of parking space available, which made things very convenient. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help.
The only downside was that the air conditioning was not working properly during my stay. Apart from that, everything else was excellent. Overall, I had a good experience and would consider staying here again."
