"Beautiful, clean property on the Mississippi. We used the hotel as our base for the State Fair, the Mall of America, Target Field and museums. Our large room had a huge window with great views. Valet parking was quick and courteous."

"State Fair was running and hotel was crowded. But the staff managed the flow very well, and the breakfast area was spotless and never short of food any morning/always well stocked. Tough to ask for more really just a pleasant stay. Notable (though I did not use) was a very large assortment of drinks/snacks/chips etc available 24/7 in the lobby store. Rooftop bar in neighboring Home2 Suites is a nice perk (picnic tables, tvs, firepit)a nice place to go after dinner to talk with friends, but bartenders don't match the enthusiasm of the staff. Can imagine they are booked for Univ. of MN games and events as very easy to walk to campus."

"The location of this property originally drew us in with a child attending the campus right here you can’t beat the convenience. The on site restaurant, Starbucks and chick fil an are an added perk. There are several close by perks as well like Walgreens, the metro stop and the stadium. The hotel has alway been clean and cozy, the lobby is actually an amazing spot to study or read or visit with friends. The staff is so nice and helpful with directions and recommendations. The food at the on - site restaurant The Beacon is always amazing. Will continue to stay at this hotel whenever possible"
