"We had an amazing overnight stay at the Annex. Nancy, the host, could not have been more welcoming, informative and helpful. The cottage was ideal for our particular needs - a rather last minute booking - and very clean and well equipped throughout. It was beautifully warm, and the property is set deep in a very beautiful part of lovely Exmoor. Would highly recommend this cosy cottage for a couple and reasonably priced as well. "

"We really enjoyed our stay here as an overnight stop between Torquay and Bournemouth. The room was lovely with a nice view of fields (something we asked for). The hotel itself is new and a pleasant place to be, with views out over the countryside. We ate lunch at the top floor restaurant and were very impressed by the food and service. Something to be aware of is that the hotel is quite isolated. We wanted to go for a walk after dinner but there weren't really any options, so we wandered around the car park for a bit. Other than that very minor thing we had a great stay and would definitely recommend the hotel."
