"Stayed here many times but disappointed the room (carpet) didn't look clean, bathroom, this is only room with a bath and this will be the third time I've had this room and the bath taps don't work you can only use the shower. Previously I've had water in the room but not this time. Didn't look like the tea, coffee, etc. had been topped up"

"The steps were very steep and when we enquired about the lift we’re told it was “broke”. We had to constantly go up and down these steps several times each day which was tedious. The room was very dark and dim even with all of the lights on. The sealant to the shower partition was peeling off. Despite the room being called Lake View King there was no lake view. When booking we upgraded to this room for the view so fully expected to have a view of the lake. The bath was dirty so despite bringing...

"Located in Glaston, we used the old pheasant for an overnight base whilst travelling through.
Family suite was generous in space, clean and comfortable. Kids had private sleeping space.
We enjoyed an evening meal in the restaurant and was looked after by the front of house team who were excellent.
We stayed for breakfast and enjoyed both a continental and cooked breakfast. Food was value for money and service was fantastic throughout the visit.
Would stay again. Value for money."

"Everything was amazing, the food the room and the service. One very minor flaw. On our second and last morning I didn't fancy another of the pubs excellent full English breakfast so asked for porridges and a sausage bap. I was told that I was only allowed one item off the menu even though I feel the cost of my preference was less. The waiter offered to go and enquire if my request could be granted but I refused his offer saying I would go for the full breakfast which he said "was probably best""
