We stayed in the Windsor suite with the jacuzzi outside and had a lovely stay. The staff were very polite and informative. The hotel is very scenic and has a view of the lake. The suite was very spacious and was very well equipped. The restaurant on site offered a wide variety of food to a very good standard. We would have loved to have stayed longer and will definitely stay again.

Good location with enough to do around for a short staycation. Staff were really helpful. Maybe because of the season, there were more flies and cobwebs than I would have expected in the room, but overall I felt comfortable in it given the heat spike. The restaurant is on the pricey side but with novel options and attentive staff. There could be more dedicated cycle parking space.

Overall, we had a great stay. The hotel and its location were excellent, and the grounds were beautifully maintained and kept to a very high standard. The only disappointing aspect was the hotel restaurant. The food was average and didn't quite meet our expectations. If we were to return, we would probably choose to dine at restaurants nearby instead.

Terrible check in experience. Seemed as through they were extremely understaffed. Lifts were down, making it difficult to bring suitcases into the rooms. Available staff did the best they could. Overall room was clean, grounds were well maintained and breakfast was great.

Check in was slow and room was not ready until 3.20pm, the room had not been set up with correct bed and towels etc. we were a large group staying for a wedding and the delays were disappointing wedding venue itself is lovely

A really lovely hotel. All the staff were exceptionally helpful, polite and always pleasant with a smile. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and all the food was outstanding. We would highly recommend a stay here.

Lovely place, we had a lake view room and it was beautiful, room 513. From our balcony we could see a colony of young housemartins, who were nesting under the eves, flying around and back to their nests, just lovely. My husband has problems walking, we called reception to ask if the buggy could pick him up and it was there within minutes. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. The menu in the restaurant was a bit limited, but we found something we liked. Breakfast had plenty of choice, however for me, the eggs were overdone and the bacon was streaky. Overall, a lovely weekend and a beautiful place to stay.

We had a king sized room on the second floor. Comfortable bed. Amazing views of the lake plus it was lovely to have a balcony with outside seating. It was easy to control the heating. Good self service breakfast.

Beautiful room with a balcony and reservoir view. Lovely to be able to sit outside with a cup of tea after a busy day at Rutland. Staff extremely helpful and welcoming. Breakfast choice excellent and good to have healthy options and oats milk but a pity the majority of hotels now have self serve tea/coffee via machines although appreciate it does save costs.

Staff very welcoming on arrival. Room clean. Restaurant staff were lovely and we could see the kitchen staff were very busy and efficient. Breakfast had a good choice of hot and cold food. Overall a lovely stay and we would stay again.
