Front Desk Staff become your friends!

The hotel is a gorgeous B&B with amazing staff wonderful views and beds that I just wanted to take home. I come to New Jersey several times a year on business and this will be my new favorite place to stay!

My husband and I stayed at the majestic hotel for one night and it was amazing! Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, room was excellent and there was plenty of restaurants in the area and the beach is walking distance. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Loved the friendly vibe at this beautiful Victorian property. Shout-out to Trudy for warmly welcoming us after a 10.5 hour ride and letting us hang in our room a bit later. One block to the boardwalk and short walk to iconic Asbury Park. Double Room was spacious and we had everything we needed (only one suggestion: a full-length mirror!)

Just a short walk from the beach, easy to reach Asbury Park boardwalk by foot or car. Short walk to stores and restaurants. Some upgrades in process under new ownership. We plan to return.

Perfect night away

An amazing little find in Ocean Grove! Plenty of street parking outside of the hotel. All staff were friendly and informative. Short walk to Asbury Park for a concert, so convenient to all nearby locations. The room was comfortable and quiet at night. The balcony was a plus for a late night cap and a morning coffee with a ocean breeze.

This was a very "typical" NJ shore hotel. Excellent ambiance, beautiful building, and a great town. Everyone was very friendly and the scattering of Valentine's Day chocolates throughout the lobby was a nice (and appreciated!) touch! Absolutely loved the stay! The only extremely minor quirk was that the clothing rod was pretty close to the shelf below it, so anything longer than a shirt wouldn't hang properly.

Nothing fancy, but that's ok!

I was in room #5, and the bed was very soft, but otherwise, everything was fine. If you're a light sleeper, put in some earplugs because if the folks room above you flushes the toilet, it will wake you up! Continental breakfast was just right--

When I booked, I had spoken with Nancy the night of checking in and she was wonderful and kind. I didn’t get to my room until after 8 pm so I wasn’t able to see anyone in person, but checking in the room was easy. The room was clean and comfortable. The problem for me is the room had no hot water. I called the next day, spoke to a different woman regarding this issue, and she told me that no one else complained and I didn’t know how to use the handles. I am aware of how to use shower and sink handles, turned the handles both ways to try to get hot water and left the water running for 5 minutes on both sides, still no hot water. I was not offered even an apology, just letting me know I was wrong and didn’t know how to use the handles. Very strange conversation, I hope whoever stays in room 2 is able to have the water fixed, or able to check in prior to 8 pm so they’re able to fix the problem at hand.

I had a fantastic stay at the quaint boutique hotel, just a block from the boardwalk. The staff and check in was amazing, and the food was spectacular. The bed was out of this world!!! I’ll definitely be back!

The Majestic hotel was exactly that, Majestic! From the moment my wife and I entered the doors we were greeted by Katie who was incredibly pleasant. The Majestic is everything a hotel should be in a Victorian town. The staff was accomadating, kind, and welcoming. The hotel had a warm, cozy vibe. This was my 2nd stay there and I will definitely be back again in the near future!
