"My bathroom basin did not have proper basin drain. Basin Drainage was open and Rydges was managing it using plug or a plastic lid. When plug was put on - water logged. When plug was put off I see an open drain. Not the ideal scenario when u pay a premium price for a 5 star hotel stay. I requested them either to change my room or fix it by a plumber. But no luck! They just kept avoiding my request. Very poor customer experience."

"The first day breakfast after arrive at night the male servant is very rude. Try to stop me adding my breakfast even though still have 15 minutes before cut off time. He is not qualified working in service business. That is why the second day and third day we don’t want to spend another dime for breakfast. "

"Had a short but pleasant stay. Room was spotless and comfortable. I found the staff welcoming on arrival and were always friendly. The hotel is very well situated to the train and if travelling to the Entertainment precinct was a 5min walk to the light rail. Overall would come back"

"Bed was comfortable. Hotel itself is looking dated and tired. Rooms are semi renovated however silicone and grout in showers are discoloured /mouldy and need replaced. I wouldn’t recommend this property."

"Property is in a great location and our room was lovely and roomy with a balcony. There are some issues with the bathroom maintenance as the shower leaked all over the floor. The stay was marred by some unhelpful staff. The reception staff were helpful for the bar staff clearly did not want to be there, advising us they were shutting at 930 pm and to hurry up. My husband gave direct feedback to the bar man that he was being rude. This was disappointing."
