"Our favorite annual family vacation. This place is beautiful and the service is always perfect. We love being in front of the ocean!"

"Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, and proximity to the pier / beach / restaurants, and access to the underground parking garage, made for a great beach vacation experience for our family. The free breakfast is good, although by the end of the 5th day, we were ready for some 'real eggs' and bacon. Would be nice to have had more fresh fruit options. Also, the stair cases were dilapidated, and the elevators (when both working) were fine, but if one wasnt working took too long to go up/down....

"Hidden little gem. We had a great room. Room 212 came with an outdoor patio which was perfect for laying out during the day ocean view. And hanging out at night leave the door open for that ocean breeze!! The bed and pillow were cozy. AC blew nice and cold. It was quiet and very peaceful. The hotel staff was wonderful. The Little Dawn attached to the hotel was AMAZING!!!! I highly suggest having dinner there. Food was delish, the even carry Natural wine…. Parking is $28 a day which I felt should...

"My primary complaint is that in two rooms I used during my stay the shower units had problems requiring aid. The breakfast items were barely adequate. the evening staff seemed to not be knowledgeable nor empowered to make decisions. A very plain motel. Overall it was a two star facility in my view."

"I paid a deposit (twice) and they never gave it back to me. I called to follow up when it would be credited back to my account and they just hung up on me. Worst customer service and overall hotel experience. I wish I could give negative stars"

"Massive consstruction going on. Main office right smack in the middle of a paint job, which reeked. On the third floor where we stayed patchwork and paint prepping all over. The room itself was fine, roomy. our only window was right over the pool with the only allowed to open 5 inches. No microwave which should be standard in a 100.00 dollar a room night. No coffee maker present which really sucked having to get in the car for for that at 7:00 am.. Ps there were multiple stacks of new...

"amenities didn’t work, such as blow dryer, etc. No smoking 100% property, however the front desk ladies are vaping INSIDE as i’m checking in."

"This motel located literally 100 feet from a 12 lane highway (I5) that goes to San Diego. The noise level is high, even with earplugs. There homeless people snooping around, sometimes they sit on the he stairs leading to upper deck, talking and staff does not do anything to make their PAYING guests feel comfortable. Bed matresses are blown out and offer no support, rooms are small and exterior paint on the doors is very old.. Looks like the owner is a cheapskate how dont wanna put a penny...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ocean Palms Beach Resort! The property was well maintained and clean! The ambiance in the evening was great; the tiki torches and fire pits gave a Polynesian feel! The very close proximity to the beach is a highlight as well! We are already planning our next stay at the Ocean Palms Beach Resort!!"

"I liked everything about the property except my room location was terrible. Right at the front by the street. Got very little sleep because of all the noise!"

"What a great room for the family! The grounds are pretty with unique plants. There’s no pool but it’s one street to the beach. The hotel has sand buckets and folding chairs to use. On Wed evenings there’s a street market two blocks away. Great restaurants everywhere. I loved the clean, fresh-smelling pillows and sheets."

"Was upset for the additional parking fee, but it was very convenient. My stay was for three nights, which I understand they don’t change sheets every day but I thought they would at least come in and make the bed and pick up dirty towels and take the trash out!"
