"The room had a distinct sewage/mildew smell. Extremely prevalent in the bathroom. I contacted the front desk immediately, and was told " it's very common there, and I should open the window, and run the shower simultaneously, and that should help with the smell a bit". The front desk also brought down a bottle of disinfectant to " help with the smell". I also was never informed before or after booking that the pool was unavailable! "Really deserves 2.5 stars. Staff was pleasant and professional. Outside and room are a bit run down; but mostly clean. Room had a fridge and microwave but spotty internet and hot water with poor water pressure. Only 1 cup and 1 bar of soap for amenities. Not sure if there were other guests as it seemed most everyone there lived in the rooms, including the strong smell of pot in the morning. Place seemed safe enough though. "Parking lot is a mess. Check in easy. Everything is old and unclean. We almost left after walking into the room, unfortunately there were not any vacancies in the places we wanted to stay. Washcloth was stained, towels very thin, no tissues, no soap dish for hand washing soap, limited plugs for charging, very thin bed linens.
