"Hotel is in good location. Front rooms facing Brunswick St are a little noisy. Paid extra for a balcony room which was a mistake. It was on the first floor with a pretty grim outlook. Room also seemed to smell a bit which may have been from previous guests smoking on the balcony. Otherwise the hotel was okay."

"Summary: they charged me a bogus fee for using a bed that should have been included in my reservation. It felt like a bait and switch and I really didn't like it. I booked a room for a family of five people. I was placed in a room with one queen/king sized bed, two twin beds, and a full/queen pull out sofa. Should be fine as there are 6 bed spaces in the room. However, at check in the receptionist said there was an extra $50/night to use the pull out. I pointed out that use of the pull out...

"The room was great. Clean and comfortable. There couldn’t be a better location. We walked to the ferry daily and the huge mall with a full grocery store, plenty of food options, and lots of opportunities for shopping. The one thing that was ridiculous was parking. There isn’t any! You pay to park at a lot around the block in addition to what you already paid for the room."

"Humorously, this hotel advertises itself as “Brisbane’s five star luxury hotel.” It is not!! It is a three star Holiday Inn at best. I had a club room that smelt like a locker room. The room smelt of mildew and the furniture was old and worn. The faucet in the bathroom broken and barely functioning. The location is great. Unfortunately, the hotel is not. The only thing five star about the hotel is what they charge for their old and smelly rooms. This is not a luxury hotel!!"

"Excellent location and across the road from Central Station. Perfectly good room. Only access to the lobby is up approx 8 steps which is difficult with a heavy suitcase. There is a small platform stairlift for wheelchair access but certainly not a very accessible place as you require to ask reception to use the stair lift. It is a heritage building hence steps up from street. All level once you are inside. I would stay here again but not if I was requiring a wheelchair or struggled with...
