"This was my first experience in a ROOST property and it was a great alternative to a classic hotel! The apartment was modern and chic but cozy. It felt like coming home to our own place after walking around the city. The apartment was very clean, well decorated, and comfortable. The 3rd floor amenity floor was gorgeous - beautiful green terraces to hang out on, a spacious and clean outdoor rooftop pool, hang out spots that were empty every time we visited. "There was no washing machine in room 509 but they moved us to another, bigger, much nicer room at no charge that had both a washer and dryer. Once I figured out how to work them, everything was fine. Hotel is very convenient to so much."

"First, the staff was excellent. The room was advertised as “city view” which, as it turns out, means “view of the HVAC system of the adjacent building “. The room had no proper sitting area and about half the room is dedicated to the commode, shower and wash basin. Obviously an old building where they had constraints but not a friendly space. Just a bed in midtown.. nothing special."
